The 11th personal exhibition, Il Respiro (Breath), of the artist Nur Ataibis who has turned the state of being human, the concept of beauty, the question of power and the status of human being in the society and nature into concrete visuality by her works she has created since the day she began to work as an artist, opened in Rome on Saturday 16 March.
Nur Ataibis’ first personal exhibition abroad, Il Respiro (Breath), tests the courage of the human beings to confront the initial, the naivest, the strongest, the weakest and the worst states of theirs. Nur Ataibis, who creates free and genuine works pertaining to life as well as the history of art, philosophy, mythology, literature and music, who particularly emphasizes that she works while living and lives while working, and who has works, with references and allusions, which make the lovers of art feel the power and gravity of the past and the works which the contradicting sentiments of being woman, death, desire, freedom and maternity, form a whole. She turns the state of being human, the concept of beauty, the question of power and the status of human being in the society and nature into concrete visuality by her works she has created since the day she began to work as an artist.
Having participated many group exhibitions abroad, Nur Ataibis’ 30 works curated by Ferdan Yusufi and Giorgio Bertozzi selected from her previous works can be appreciated at the exhibition titled Il Respiro/Breath, visual design by Stefano Ferraci, in the gallery of Vista Centro D’arte run by Alexander Jaknaghiev until 29 March.
